What goes without saying (again)
You should have with you a sentence from the article you've been working with which, in your opinion, presumes its reader already believes something, or a number of things, which you can identify.
In the groups we've been working in, share the sentences, and your explanations of them, around the group, and select two you think we might profitably discuss. When every group has decided on a couple (this should take fifteen minutes or so), copy your sentences into the appropriate slots on the form, write a short explanation of your choice, and let me know you're done by handing it to me.
We'll talk. We'll try to get around to all of them.
For next time
I've found five articles I think are provocative, each of which is at least distantly related to one of the five we've been working with. I've create a Moodle Forum for each. They're linked from the main English 1006 page.
Post responses before 1:00 Tuesday (before Religious Studies, that is), and I'll use that time to print and format them for reading and discussion.
