Honours Students
The Anthropology Department at St. Thomas Anthropology is delighted
to have a small group of students prepare their undergraduate honours
thesis in anthropology every year. Some of these students are listed below as well as a brief description of thier project.
Josh Green: Writing his honours thesis during the 2008-2009 school year, Josh is looking into Miramichi folk music.
Specifically, he is interested in the local construction of meaning with regards to traditional songs and singing with a particular focus on the
Miramichi Folksong Festival. "In short, I am interested in how the songs of the Miramichi and their meanings to singers and
listeners have changed over time" said Josh in 2008.
