Publications:
Several articles developed from presentations made at the First and Second Canadian Conferences on Spirituality and Social Work (Toronto 2002, and Halifax 2003) have been published in the electronic journal Currents: New Scholarship in the Human Services (http://www.fsw.ucalgary.ca/currents/index.php ). This is the second group of papers on spirituality and social work published by Currents, and this special edition has been co-edited by Dr. John Graham (University of Calgary) and Dr. John Coates (St. Thomas).

Publication Opportunities:
Drs. Coates and Graham will be co-editing the Winter 2005 issue of Critical Social Work which will focus on spirituality and social work. An invitation to submit manuscripts for peer-review and possible inclusion in this dedicated issue is extended to those who present at the Third Annual Canadian Conference on Spirituality and Social Work: Spiritual Identity and Transformation, (June 1-3, Winnipeg, Manitoba). Manuscripts from people unable to attend the conference are also welcome. Manuscripts should be submitted to John Coates or John Graham no later than September 17, 2004. Selected presentations from the first three Canadian Conferences on Spirituality and Social Work will form the core of a book being edited by John Coates, John Graham, Brian Ouellette and Barbara Swartzentruber. Manuscripts for consideration should be submitted to John Coates (jcoates@stu.ca) by October 31, 2004.
