The instructor now has the responsibility to provide opportunities for student dialogue which will hopefully led them to a better understanding of the new ideas.  It is a time for promoting explanations ad challenging models and solutions through peer dialogue.  It the time for the closing the cognitive gap which was earlier established at the onset of the exploration.  Somehow, old ideas need to be replaced or integrated with new ideas.  This is where closure begins.
