Like a good wine, Troy Turyk seems to get better with age. Now entering year number five on the St. Thomas blueline, the Tommie hard rock is as consistent as they come, so coach Eagles will no doubt be the recipient of another fine campaign from this smooth skating veteran. A punishing guy to play against, "Turky" leaves it all on the ice every game. Besides his solid defensive zone coverage, Troy can be a threat up ice, as he owns a big time point shot and when he unloads it, it is a howitzer.
