An injury shortened rookie year has had Thatcher recovering from off season surgery and by all reports, he will soon be "walking on water" or at least skating on the frozen kind. It is expected that following a very careful rehab schedule that Thatcher will once again be demonstrating his superior hockey skills. Thatcher's off ice dedication to the team following his "grounding" spoke volumes as to his character and quality as a person.
