On
entering a discussion the user should be able to see at a glance the structure and direction of the conversation. As in Hypernews or Ceilidh, the items should be presented in an outline form (a webbed form would be acceptable, were one to exist), and not merely chronologically nor according to subject line (varying the subject line is, or can become, an important part of the process of participating in the conversation).
