· Antiochus IV- This is who one of the first blood accusations was made to. He claimed that he was kidnapped by a non-jew and fattened up.
 

· Norwich, England 1144 - This is when the first Blood accusation occurred. Jews were accused of kidnapping a child. They tormented him in the way that Jesus was tormented.
 

· Pope Innocence IV - This Pope wrote a letter denying beliefs that stated jews used christain blood to cure bad effects of baptism and keep men from menstruating.
 

· Blood Libel accusations - this is an idea that was created in the seventeenth century when it was believed that Jewish needed Christian blood for making their mantras.
 

· Muhammad Ali - He was the ruler of Syria, which was under Turkish rule. He was from Egypt.
 

· Ratti- Menton - He was the French consul that during the Thomas case, the French were under protection by. He invited the Syrian general to prosecute the case.
 

· Solomon Negrin - He was a barber that was arrested and tortured until he confessed about Thomas. He claimed that Thomas had been killed in a man's house. The men that he named were arrested and two of them died of torture and the another converted to Islam.
 

· David Harari - It was his house that it had been said that Thomas had been killed in.
 

· Meir Farhi - it was claimed that Thomas' Muslim servant was killed here.
 

· James de Rothchild - He tried to intervien with the French Government about the Damascus case after being sent a report on it. He than got no response so he published a report.
 

· Moses Montefiore - He was part of a a Jewish delegation, whose went to speak to Muhammad Ali.
