Jif's explanation on email: "You know, it gets harder each year to top the last, but Sean did an awesome job of creating a coffin (with my sarcophagus as the front) that we stood up in the entryway. He had it rigged so someone could open it with a string, and since we had both girls home to help this year, we were also able to put someone out on the deck in one of the chairs (in between the manikin and another fake person) so that after we scared them inside, the person on the deck could stand up, which was enough to send them running away."
