and Brad were ready, 
,
sort of, when Maria the Justice of the Peace 
arrived and charmed us all 
with stories about Somerville and the church we happened to be in. The
ceremony 
was extremely
nice, and the happy couple 
seemed pretty damn happy. So did 
the guests 
who watched 
attentively and posed for the obligatory family shot 
(and who's that looking over Ken's shoulder?). Afterward we sat around
for a bit, and chatted 
and meme put together the 
brunch. In the afternoon there was a walk 
among the flowers 
out on the Boston 
Common.
