I thought this street, running down toward the harbour from LaMarchant, was pretty cool.

And the Hotel Newfoundland, which Wally told me was well past Bishop Field, has pretty clearly been redone.

The view of the mouth of the harbour from Water Street was pretty gorgeous.

and Water Street itself is worth seeing.

Though I clearly underestimated the exposure . . .

On the way back toward the bus stop I detoured up to get a shot of George Street, which by day looks like this:

but at night is pretty much wall to wall people, music, and police cars. The "Fat Kat," the club where we'd heard xx the night before looks like this by day:

But it didn't look like that by night.
