I couldn't resist this sign, which was on a side street in either MacDuff or Banff. We were actually on our way from Gardenstown to Duff House, which is not far outside Banff , and which didn't allow photography inside. The gardens, though , were gorgeous, with lots of old , gigantic trees and more birds than you could imagine. There is also a family mausoleum, a mile or so from the house , and an impressive ice house , complete with explanation.
