We tried to catch some of the unbelievable sparkle left after the February
13 ice storm, but of course mostly failed. There's a hint of it in the
lilac, and maybe a bit in the birch on
the south line, but trust me, the thing was just afire. So was the flowering
crab behind the study, and
the little maple behind
the garage. The lampost too. I
guess the closest I got was the edge
of the birch and Anne caught just a little of the light
on the road -- unfortunately, the windshield made a lot of the pictures
unusable. But we both like this one, out the study window.
You had to be there, though.
