A bit of snice
February 14-16, 2008

We tried to catch some of the unbelievable sparkle left after the February 13 ice storm, but of course mostly failed. There's a hint of it in the lilac, and maybe a bit in the birch on the south line, but trust me, the thing was just afire. So was the flowering crab behind the study, and the little maple behind the garage. The lampost too. I guess the closest I got was the edge of the birch and Anne caught just a little of the light on the road -- unfortunately, the windshield made a lot of the pictures unusable. But we both like this one, out the study window. You had to be there, though.
