Snow Day: December 5, 2007
This was our morning: during breakfast 
the world was pretty much black and white 
with the occasional spot of 
color. Out the deck door 
it was pretty 
wintry, and
we couldn't see much 
out
the north kitchen window. The grape arbor 
was 
pretty bare 
,
and the lilac was 
coated
with snow. Reilly seemed 
to think 
she wanted 
to go 
outside 
.
We told her it looked like this 
but she insisted 
and eventually
found 
a place to watch it
all from.
A little later we opened the garage door 
-- but a bit after that rescue arrived 
(you'll notice we'd already made some headway, though).
