Bus Pass
Full-time students of St. Thomas University were first granted a bus pass
for Fredericton’s public transport the academic year of 2004-2005 through
a fixed $60 fee in their tuition. Originally the bus pass was meant
for use from September to May. However,
Fredericton Transit has agreed to allow us to use our bus passes
throughout the summer at no extra cost! Simply continue using your student
ID and you can ride for free.

In
order to ride the bus, you need a U-Pass sticker on your student id. These
can be found at the Registrar’s Office. New students can get a temporary
bus pass until they get their own STU ID.
The system is relatively new, but many students have benefited from it.
There will be yearly evaluations to confirm the beneficial aspect of the
bus pass as well as an attempt to cater to the diverse needs of our
student body.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns about the Universal Bus
Pass program, direct them to the Students' Union VP Student Life,
Lillian Drysdale, at su_vpsl@stu.ca.
