For a day the slab rested. But Friday morning by about 7:15 Garth was there with a load of pink foam insulation, and a few minutes later had taken off the forms and was laying the insulation , when Nick arrived with the hoe. Down the drive it came, and it wasn't long before it was spreading a load of fill around the foundation. Pretty soon it started to take shape, and the hoe came around to the other side. Just before noon a truck arrived to take away the forms and stakes while a ditch formed for the drainage and anoter for the electrical conduit.Then it was about grooming and spreading, and by three o'clock this was what was left.
